Caroline Corby  - Project Coordinator

MA, BA (Hons.)

Caroline sits on the Board of Directors at First Person Project CIC and she works in the role of Project Coordinator on a day-to-day basis. Caroline takes a lead on all creative projects at First Person Project. Caroline has recently founded Pink Flamingo, a non-profit social enterprise which supports the improvement of mental health through sustainable creative practises.


Caroline has lived experience of mental-ill health, which she has been able to improve through physical exercise, dance, reiki, meditation and other spiritual practises. 


Caroline is an experienced Fashion Designer by background with 17 years industry experience, this includes at a local, regional and international level. Caroline holds both MA and BA (Hons.) in this subject, having achieved a distinction from the University of Salford. Caroline is a veteran of London Fashion Week, with work being featured in various editorials and on the red carpet. Caroline is particularly interested in sustainable fashion design, focused towards people who are conscious about the planet and are in search for a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them. Caroline believes that communities can and should be supported to improve their own mental health and environment.

Caroline holds qualifications in mental health, safeguarding, zumba, reiki, coaching and mentorship. 


Caroline has additional experience working with older adults with a variety of needs, as well as with young people in specialist education settings.
