Healthy neighbours

About healthy neighbours

Mental health support doesn’t need to be complicated and if you can provide people with something to do, somewhere to do it and someone to do it with, then you’re halfway there to making a difference!

That’s the foundation that our Healthy Neighbours group is built on.

A weekly community-based session with everything from arts and crafts, gardening, games, workshops and litter picks – all with the community at heart.

We have a gardening group that takes control of the nearby green spaces and keeps them looking lovely.  We also undertake gardening projects for local residents who, for whatever reason are unable to garden, and we get in there and help them out with whatever jobs need doing to make a difference.

More about these sessions

Join us for a brew and a chat and get involved in whatever activities are going on or head outside and put your green fingers to good use with our gardening group.

It’s a great opportunity to meet new people or catch up with the regulars and a chance to do something fun, interesting or a little bit different.

You can find us every Thursday between 10-13 at the Community Flat, 18 Abingdon Grove, L4 9UY

This session is delivered in partnership with Torus Foundation as part of their Healthy Neighbours initiative.
