Fit & Focused is a 6-week gym training program, for anyone who wants to improve their physical health or who wants to gain experience and build confidence in a gym environment.
Mental health needs physical support and we are excited to support you on your journey to improving your physical health and building confidence in the gym!
Over the 6 weeks, we will be guiding you through the following:
The basic principles of exercise.
How to train safely and effectively.
What different gym equipment does and how to use it.
Education around other healthful practices that will support your training and overall wellbeing.
We want to support you in becoming more active and improving your physical health while building friendships and being part of a community of like-minded people.
The aim is to give you the skills and the confidence to continue training on your own, or maybe with someone you meet on this program, and to take control of your physical health and continue on your own fitness journey!
You’ll also get a free gym membership for the duration of the programme so you can attend in between sessions if you choose to. Our staff will be there every step of the way to make sure you get all the support and guidance you need.
We also stay behind after the session to grab a brew and have a chat and explore other aspects of physical health, such as nutrition, hydration, sleep, stress and all sorts of other important things that support your overall wellbeing.
This is a free offering but spaces are limited and you will need to contact us to book!
