What
we do

Our array of programmes, projects, and services are designed with the community at heart. We understand that mental wellness is intricately linked to social cohesion, and that's why we create opportunities for people to come together, share experiences, and build lasting connections.

Whether it's through group sessions, community workshops, or social events, we strive to create environments where everyone feels a sense of belonging and mutual support.

"My mental health seemed to become clear after speaking to the service. It's really helpful"
My experience has been really effective and will be using the strategies to cope with my mental health in the future. Thank you.
My mental health seems to be calm and balanced which is positive for my health all around.
I understand how my brain works and that a thought will pass. We can sit in it, but it's how we react to the thought that is most important.

Our

Approach

At First Person Project CIC we champion proactive and prevention-focused action, drawing upon a variety of strength-based approaches to achieve this.

When people are seen and heard for their passions, values, and potential then mental wellness can be sustainably achieved.

Social
Equality

At First Person Project we recognise that everyone has a voice, we want to hear each one. We are an inclusive not-for-profit social enterprise which works with all people and promotes social equality.

Community &
Connection

When 'I' becomes 'we', illness becomes wellness. We believe that communities have the lived experience, tools, passions, and resilience to be healthy and connected. We believe that when people work together, wellness can be achieved.

Sustainable & Ethical

When people come together, they create opportunities for improved health and happiness - becoming more socially progressive and sustainable. We support the empowerment of communities to help them take ownership of their actions towards wellness.

Health & Wellbeing

We believe that all roads lead to and from mental health. At First Person Project we encourage the celebration and promotion of health and wellbeing to become a happier and healthier society.

Our
