Like most cities in the world, Liverpool faces its fair share of social and economic deprivation. While regeneration and gentrification have attracted more businesses and prestige, some areas continue to struggle, leaving a legacy of devastating physical and mental health issues associated with low employment and poverty.
First Person Project's founding director Matty Caine was recently interviewed by The Tin Man Online. He spoke about the social injustice across the Liverpool City Region and how through the creation of horizontal community networks First Person Project CIC are working to equip people with the right tools and the confidence to make positive changes for themselves.
