Danielle was born and raised in Liverpool and couldn’t imagine herself in any other city! She is currently in the final few months of study for a BSc Psychology degree at Liverpool John Moores University and will be continuing to study at Liverpool, progressing on to an MSc in Psychology at the University of Liverpool.
Danielle has always had a strong interest in mental health and a passion for supporting others. She is currently undertaking a dissertation project looking at coping strategies and mental health in UK residents, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Danielle has volunteered within the community for many years supporting hospital patients, offenders and health and social care service users.
Since discovering the work of First Person Project, and living in many areas within Liverpool, Danielle has become increasingly more aware of the social and economic challenges within local communities. Communities supporting each other and progressing together is very important to Danielle and she is thrilled to be a part of the amazing work of First Person Project. She recently wrote a positive psychology blog for FPP and will soon be helping out as a Project facilitator. She is looking forward to using her knowledge and skills from both her university course and voluntary work, in order to empower others
